Shutter Priority Mode:

This image is shot at a fast shutter speed to capture the motion of the drummers hair.

Aperture Priority Mode:

I shot this photograph with a fairly closed aperture to achieve this dramatic look with a deep depth of field.

Manual Mode:

I shot this photograph in manual mode. I used a 1/1000 to capture the detail of the ripples in the water and I had my aperture set to f 4.5 to capture the detail in the background while remaining focused on my subject. I intentionally underexposed this image to exentuate the colors and detail of the water and sky.

Post 1:

The main subject of this photo is my friend’s dog, Milton, returning the ball while playing catch in the backyard.

Milton is positioned in the center and lower part of the frame. I kept the photo wide to include the full details of the backyard, which felt important to the context.

I chose to photograph Milton because he’s getting older, and I wanted to capture him happy and healthy in a place that means a lot to my friend.
